Terms of Sale and Warranty Information
- If within warranty, a mechanical part proves defective, the seller will, within a reasonable period of time, replace the part.
- If a replacement part is not available, a refund will be issued. (See line 7)
- All electrical parts are sold as is and may only be replaced at the seller's discretion.
- Seller is not responsible or liable for any accident or consequential damages.
- No warranty or reimbursement on labor under any circumstances.
- Refunds will be returned in either the original form of payment or store credit based on the seller's discretion.
- All sheet metal, glass, electrical components, and body parts are sold as is.
- Non-rebuildable or incomplete cores will be accepted for credit.
- Damaged or altered parts will not be warrantied or credited.
- Any return or claim must be accompanied by the original receipt.
- Any damage caused by overheating or improper fluid type/level voids all warranties.
- Unless stated otherwise on the face of the receipt, no other warranty is made or implied.
- The seller is not responsible for buyer errors.
- All returned non-defective parts will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- If there is a problem with a part, DeMilo Used Auto Parts & Co. must be contacted before the removal or attempted repair of said item.
- All major drivetrain, engine, and induction components must be installed by a certified technician at a licensed repair facility, and a copy of the receipt must be presented upon return of the item for all warranty claims.
- All fluids, filters, and installation procedures must be done to the manufacturer's specifications or the warranty will be voided. A copy of the receipt from the repair facility will be required for warranty claims.
- Parts and deposits left over 30 days will be forfeited.
Special Order Policies
- All special order parts are non-refundable and must be paid in full before ordering.
- The seller is not responsible for the delay of shipment. Freight delivery is beyond the seller's control.
- If a special order part is ordered incorrectly by the buyer, additional shipping charges may apply.
- All conditions listed under the terms of sale above apply.
Engine and Transmission Warranty
- Used engines are guaranteed against cracks in the block or head. Parts external from the cylinder block and heads, such as an alternator, a starter, etc., are not warrantied or guaranteed and are left on for the installer's convenience.
- Used parts are guaranteed against internal noise, excessive smoking, and excessive oil consumption. It is required that the buyer replace all filters, belts (timing belts), seals, and gaskets associated with the part, as well as follow the vehicle maintenance schedule.
- Improper adjustments, improper fluid levels, broken front pump, or improper installation void all warranties.
- Used automatic transmission requires the front pump seal and filter to be changed as well as the entire pump transmission fluid system to be flushed.
